about me

Gilles joined Charterhouse in 2017. He is a Partner responsible for the Firm’s fundraising and investor relations activities and sits on the Investment Committee.

Gilles has 24 years of investment banking experience including 19 years at HSBC, where he sat on the Management Committee of the Global Banking Division as the Global Head of the Financial Sponsors Group, being previously head of M&A for France. Whilst at HSBC Gilles advised Charterhouse on numerous transactions.

Gilles holds degrees in Business Management and Mathematics, as well as a Master in Finance and a postgraduate diploma in Strategic Management (DEA) from the University of Lyon. He started his career teaching Strategic Management at University of Ottawa (Ontario) and is fluent in English and French.
